As a member of the Erie Chamber of Commerce, Community Development Group participates in numerous local events throughout the year. For the last several years CDG has been a sponsor for the annual Erie Town Fair. This two-day event, held in May, begins each day with a launch of 50 hot air balloons from Vista Ridge Golf Course. Booths offering crafts, food, children’s activities, and games are set up in Coal Creek Park. The festivities attract nearly 20,000 visitors annually.
