Community Development Group’s Erie Commons Project Now Connected to Old Town Erie
"Community Development Group recently completed construction of the Briggs Street Extension through the Erie Commons community in Erie, Colorado. This traffic connection brings access to and from the wonderful and unique retail and commercial businesses in Old Town and the new Erie Community Center and Town Library, as well as the Erie Commons residential community.
Town of Erie to Open Community Center Located on Land Donated by Community Development Group
The Town of Erie’s new Community Center, Senior Center, and Library are now open. These new facilities are located at the intersection of Leon Wurl Parkway and County Line Road. The property, donated by Community Development Group, is adjacent to Community Development Group’s Erie Commons subdivision and will serve all residents of Erie.
Community Development Group is Sponsor for the Annual Erie Town Fair
As a member of the Erie Chamber of Commerce, Community Development Group participates as a sponsor for numerous local events throughout the year. For the last several years Community Development Group has also assisted with the set up for the annual Erie Town Fair. This two-day event, held every year in May, begins each day with a launch of 50+ hot air balloons. Booths offering crafts, food, children’s activities, and games are set up in Coal Creek Park. The festivities attract nearly 20,000 visitors annually.
