Located adjacent to I-25 and Highway 52 in Dacono, Sweetgrass offers a major window for the city to capture commercial and retail opportunities, together with recreational facilities and distinctive but affordable residential neighborhoods. The community was designed to meet the housing needs of north metro Denver while expanding the foundation for the small but growing municipality of Dacono. Community Development Group collaborated with the Weld County RE-8 School District to bring the Homyak PK-8 charter school to the site accommodating students throughout the area.
